PD-SP-P-0145 · CARET CONFIRMED · CONTINUITY NODE
Joan Cruz Nuez^
Hospitality executive with documented professional and corporate history across Meeting Point, LABRANDA and HKI Hotels, and later BLUESEA/Meeting Point integration work. His name appears in a Sun Park photographic package dated 1 March 2018. The recovered evidence archive also contains original 25 November 2019 HKI Hotels website captures showing “Sun Park (Lanzarote)” under “PROYECTOS” and Joan Cruz on HKI Hotels' team page.
Central boundary: the relevance is continuity, not automatic attribution. The 1 March package alone does not establish identity from the photographs, Joan Cruz's capacity, what he did, who authorised access, why the visit occurred or whether it related to Meeting Point, HKI, Lava Verde or Club Sei. Later corporate and commercial links make those questions more important; they do not answer them.
Canonical identity
PD-SP-P-0145
Joan Cruz · JCruz
Public professional sources resolve the full identity as Joan Cruz Nuez. Tourinews reported in November 2017 that he stopped performing the CEO role at Meeting Point Hotel Management on 1 November 2017. Official BORME records place him among joint attorneys of Meeting Point Hotelmanagement (Canaries) from 2015/2016 and Meeting Point Investment from February 2016, with revocations registered on 5 February 2019.
Important: registered corporate power is a legal/corporate chronology fact. It does not establish that a power was invoked or exercised at Sun Park.

WHY THIS NODE MATTERS
The question is no longer a single encounter; it is a longer owner–operator–developer chronology.
The combined public record supports investigating Joan Cruz as a potential knowledge witness / continuity node because his Meeting Point/LABRANDA history overlaps a documented Acosta Matos hospitality relationship before 2018, the Sun Park evidence in March 2018, HKI's later public presentation of Sun Park, and his post-FTI return to Meeting Point work under BLUESEA.
BORME records Cruz as a joint attorney of Meeting Point Hotelmanagement (Canaries) and Meeting Point Investment before March 2018 and records revocations on 5 February 2019.
A contemporaneous hospitality report identifies Joan Cruz as Director General of LABRANDA Hotels & Resorts at an event held at Hotel LABRANDA Marieta. Acosta Matos's own project archive identifies Grupo Patrimonial Acosta Matos, S.L. as owner of the Marieta project and José D. Acosta Matos as architect.
Acosta Matos's own archive publishes the refurbishment and interior design of Meeting Point Gran Canaria's central offices, identifies Meeting Point Hotel Management S.L. as operator and José D. Acosta Matos as architect. The current page does not itself establish a reliable project-start date.
Acosta Matos publicly presents Hotel Lava Verde at C/ Janubio 3, Playa Blanca as a 279-room project, with Construcciones Acosta Matos S.A. identified as owner and José D. Acosta Matos as architect; the operator field is blank.
CNMC C/1549/25 records Portobello Capital, through BLUESEA's Gestora Blue Sea Partner, acquiring exclusive control of Meeting Point Spain and its subsidiaries. Tourinews then reports Cruz returning to direct absorption work and renew expiring hotel-management contracts.
Public reporting says Acosta Matos entrusted Hotel Marieta to Meeting Point with BLUESEA support. Cruz's public LinkedIn activity shares that development and a Meeting Point/BLUESEA renewal for Hotel Alyssa Suite in Playa Blanca. This later continuity does not backdate a 2018 agreement.
Meeting Point / LABRANDA (2015–17) → Sun Park evidence (1 Mar 2018) → Lava Verde / Club Sei (2019–20) → HKI Sun Park capture (25 Nov 2019) → FTI collapse → BLUESEA control of Meeting Point Spain (2025) → Cruz returns to Meeting Point integration / contract renewals → renewed Acosta Matos–Meeting Point/BLUESEA hotel dealings.
Investigative inference only: this chronology makes it reasonable to ask whether the 1 March visit concerned evaluation, measurements, project preparation, management discussions or future commercialisation. It does not establish a pre-arranged Sun Park/Club Sei contract, common criminal purpose, fraud or conspiracy.

ORIGINAL CAPTURE · HKI HOTELS · 25 NOVEMBER 2019
The HKI Hotels website displayed “Sun Park (Lanzarote)” as a project.
Documented fact. The recovered original is titled Screenshot 2019-11-25 16.38.58.png. The address bar shows hkihotels.com/web/proyectos/en-lanzarote/; the “PROYECTOS” page lists “Hotel Alyssa Suite (Lanzarote)” and, immediately below, “Sun Park (Lanzarote)”. The capture's own taskbar shows 25/11/2019, 16:38.

These images are not a later reconstruction of the website. They were recovered as original screenshot files from the Project archive. The source presentation “Comercializacion Club Sie Lanzarote y Sun Park (1-2-fly y HKI 2018-2019)” was created on the same 25 November 2019 and preserves these captures.
Display repair — 26 September 2026: the two former JPEG-labelled files contained invalid image data. These unmodified PNG copies match the original-source hashes already recorded for the 25 November 2019 captures. The capture dates and evidential limits are unchanged.
Separate event and source references
The caret in Joan Cruz Nuez^ resolves the person record PD-SP-P-0145 only. Each dated event or capture below retains its own reference; references establish traceability, not culpability or direct participation.

- 27 Oct 2020 contrary/control report: SRC-TOURISTIK-AKTUELL-20201027 — FTI postponement; it blocks an inference that the announced Lanzarote concept necessarily opened.
The Club Sei launch report names Roula Jouny and Dr Cem Kinay in the concept/launch context. Separate corporate chronology connects Joan to Meeting Point through earlier roles (organisation nodes PD-SP-O-0038 and trademark-side PD-SP-O-0076). The reviewed sources do not establish direct Joan–Jouny/Kinay coordination or Joan’s participation in selecting, approving, contracting, operating or receiving money from Club Sei Lanzarote. See the Club Sei / Meeting Point project dossier and the FTI / Meeting Point insolvency and custody dossier.
What it proves — and what it does not. The capture establishes that, in the preserved website state on 25 November 2019, HKI Hotels publicly presented Sun Park (Lanzarote) within its projects section and the same website presented Joan Cruz within its team. It does not yet fix the first publication date, nor prove by itself a contract, mandate from LPB/Matkator/CEXP, insolvency or judicial authorisation, payment, investment, ownership or legality. Nor does it automatically backdate the listing to 1 March or 7 June 2018.
Investigative consequence: when did Sun Park first appear on HKI Hotels; who commissioned or authorised the listing; what services were provided, to whom, under what documents; and how — if at all — does that connect with the 1 March event, the 7 June takeover and later Lava Verde/Club Sei operation or commercialisation?

Wayback / historical-verification status
The independent search performed for this update has not yet located an indexed Wayback capture fixing the HKI Hotels Sun Park page in 2018. That does not invalidate the recovered original screenshots, but leaves open when Sun Park first appeared on the website.
Outstanding evidence target: locate a 2018/first-half-2019 capture, CMS/hosting metadata, HKI backups, publication/engagement emails or an earlier original able to fix the first date of the “Sun Park (Lanzarote)” page.
