What the firm did
The record includes real professional work, advice, filings, financing activity and protective intervention. The book rejects the simplistic claim that nobody did anything.
Book 6 · working title
One hotel. Years of advice. A former adviser becomes an enforcing creditor. Show the chain.
A document-led examination of professional advice around Sun Park: what was accepted, billed, known, done, left undone, communicated, left uncommunicated and handed over—and what changed when Cuatrecasas later pursued its own claimed fees against Matkator through La Laguna proceedings connected to the same physical hotel reality.
The title is a literary provocation, not a finding. The manuscript distinguishes documents, party allegations, legal hypotheses, contrary evidence, defences and unresolved proof. The full manuscript remains private.

The evidential spine
No guilt by chronology: an adverse result, later benefit, silence, a shared asset or the existence of another claim against the same firm does not prove negligence, fraud, collusion, intention or causation. Every link requires its own source, duty, decision, counterfactual and loss.
The six-part professional audit
The record includes real professional work, advice, filings, financing activity and protective intervention. The book rejects the simplistic claim that nobody did anything.
The client side alleges that unitary risks were treated through fragmented workstreams and that material safeguards, updates, implementation or evidence preservation may have been absent.
The inquiry separates express advice, warnings, negotiation, silence, handover and later court representations. Silence matters only where a communication duty and material consequence can be proved.
“Enablement” is a causal allegation, not association. It requires proof that a defined professional act or omission materially facilitated or aggravated an identifiable outcome pursued or enjoyed by another actor.
The book does not assume that no fee was due. It demands the complete chain: client, instructor, beneficiary, invoice, payer, pagaré, debtor, judicial title, asset, adjudication, possible cession and final beneficiary.
Cambiario 1048/2019 and ETJ 163/2020 require an act-by-act reconstruction: service, notice, former-client conflict, asset identity, valuation, opposition to verification, adjudication and any cession decision.
A finite criminal-procedural question
The client side has advanced a confined estafa procesal hypothesis in DP 748/2026. The book may report and test that hypothesis. It will not state that Cuatrecasas committed an offence unless a competent process establishes the necessary elements.
Was the executing court asked to act on a materially false or legally incomplete appearance concerning debt, debtor, service, property identity, integration, value, verification, adjudication or cession?
Who knew the relevant facts, what omission was legally material, and is there evidence of fraudulent purpose rather than error, disputed advice or ordinary enforcement?
Did the alleged conduct cause judicial error and a prejudicial patrimonial resolution or disposition; who lost; and who obtained or expected an improper benefit?
Boundary: disputed billing, deficient professional performance, an adverse court order or later third-party benefit does not by itself satisfy this chain.
The two-court bridge
| Proof gate | Question | Current publication status |
|---|---|---|
| Originating act | What exact filing, statement, omission or request occurred in Cambiario 1048/2019 or ETJ 163/2020, and who instructed and authorised it? | Partly documented |
| Prior knowledge | What relevant knowledge came from the earlier mandate concerning Matkator, LPB, the hotel, title, value and Concurso 36/2012? | Documentary reconstruction |
| La Laguna effect | What immediate service, attachment, valuation, adjudication, possession or cession consequence followed? | Incomplete certified record |
| Transmission | What document, legal effect or representation moved—or was intended to move—from La Laguna into the Las Palmas insolvency? | Not yet proved |
| Reliance in 36/2012 | Which judge, LAJ, Insolvency Administrator, creditor or party relied on it, and in what decision or procedural position? | Not yet proved |
| Purpose, benefit and loss | Was the Las Palmas effect intended, merely foreseeable or incidental; who benefited; which legal person lost; and what would otherwise have occurred? | Legal hypothesis |
Controlled formulation: until transmission and reliance are evidenced, the book describes a directional cross-proceeding effect requiring investigation. A defence-side use of DP 748 material to seek protection in ETJ 163/2020 proves that those 2026 proceedings were connected by current counsel; it does not prove that Cuatrecasas created La Laguna in order to manipulate Concurso 36/2012.
Publication strategy
The project’s media strategy is to make finite, source-controlled questions impossible to ignore—not to replace proof with volume. Five releases organise the work:
Right-of-reply rule: every material release should show the primary source, evidential status, strongest Cuatrecasas defence, missing proof, finite questions, response status and correction history. A non-response may be reported as a non-response by a stated date; it is not an admission.
Live evidence map
Private communications and live strategy from current lawyers and procuradores are used only for privileged status control. They are not public-source material and are not reproduced here.
The delayed reveal
The title acquires meaning as the documentary chain develops. Its wordplay and professional-accountability layers are narrative devices, never substitutes for evidence.
