Canarian Hospitality's current site says that in five years it went from its first hotel in 2021 to 12 hotels, 2,500 rooms and more than €100m in sales in 2025.

THE PHOTOGRAPH IS REAL.
So are the questions the photograph cannot answer: who owned what, who had authority over what, who managed what, how each phase was financed, and what happened between Sun Park and MYND Yaiza before the later formalisation.

Corporate photograph: Canarian Hospitality, reproduced by Hosteltur on 28 September 2026. Canarian Hospitality's own page identifies the leadership group as José Acosta Matos, Francisco Fernández, Óscar Palacios and Alejandro Páez. The full satirical artwork is preserved as PD-DMA-0014; the copyrighted film still is not embedded here while its specific publication clearance remains open.
— author's opinion / allegation
The point of the comparison is the gap between appearance and structure. It is not a substitute for evidence. Evidence must come from title, corporate records, contracts, registries, finance, accounts, decisions and dated documents.
What the company presents today
The 2026–2028 Strategic Plan release distributed on 28 September 2026 describes a current inventory of 9 establishments and a target of 15 hotels / 2,400 rooms in 2028, with €48m operating revenue in 2025 and a target above €100m in 2028.
First reconciliation question: 12 hotels / 2,500 rooms and 9 establishments / 2,400 rooms should not be repeated as though they use the same denominator. They may refer to signed, operating, pipeline, managed or otherwise defined inventory. The explanation should be identified, not assumed.
The most material contradictions and tensions
1 · Sun Park: ownership and own funds
Por Derecho's source-controlled dossier records that the November 2020 RICPE investor presentation included statements about purchase with own funds, company ownership and absence of mortgage charges.
A signed internal checkpoint from July 2021, also preserved in the corpus, described 262 properties: 54 attributed to CAM, 190 to LPB and 18 to third parties, no signed LOI and comprehensive due diligence not yet started.
Result: a P1 documentary tension requiring property-by-property reconciliation. It does not itself establish intentional deception or actual investor reliance.
2 · “Hotel Lava Verde” before 2022
A preserved 31 January 2019 capture places Hotel Lava Verde, Calle Janubio 3 under Acosta Matos “own hotels”. The later Hotel New Trend / MYND Yaiza formalisation is materially later.
Result: the 2018→2019→2020→2021→2022 chronology must remain visible. Chronology alone does not determine the lawfulness of each act.
3 · Hotel sales ≠ manager turnover
“More than €100m in sales in 2025” and “€48m operating revenue in 2025” can be perfectly compatible if they measure different perimeters. That is precisely why each must be labelled and explained separately.
4 · Ownership ≠ management ≠ brand ≠ finance
Canarian Hospitality describes itself as an asset-light manager. The documented map separates owner SPVs, shareholders, management, leases, Radisson franchises, MYND/Sholeo brands, construction and RICPE finance. One relationship does not automatically become title.
The underlying allegation — and its limit
Gil Marer's attributed position: he contends that the later Acosta Matos / RICPE platform should be investigated in full to determine whether assets, income, relationships, reputation/access and capital-raising capacity are direct or indirect fruits or substitutes of the displaced Sun Park/Aweswell platform.
Evidential limit: the present corpus does not establish a 100% causal or proprietary tracing result. It also documents Acosta Matos business activity predating Sun Park and later third-party capital, brands and relationships. The allegation defines an investigative scope; it is not an adjudication of ownership, liability or criminality.
Reporting person / whistleblower: position and legal references
The author states that he has acted since 2021 as a reporting person / whistleblower in relation to these matters. The PD-DMA-0014 artwork carries that reference.
The legal references used are Spain's Law 2/2023 of 20 February; Directive (EU) 2019/1937; Germany's Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz (HinSchG); and the UK's Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.
Precision: whether a person is protected, and to what extent, depends on the personal and material scope, reporting channel, jurisdiction and other statutory conditions of each instrument. This statement does not substitute for a decision by a competent authority and does not itself expand the legal scope of protection.
