## Exact English footer text

### Author's reporting-person / whistleblowing position

> Gil Marer states that he has acted and continues to act as a reporting person/whistleblower, communicating to authorities, regulators, professional bodies and other competent recipients information and allegations that he considers grounded and in the public interest. He invokes—where materially, personally, temporally and territorially applicable—Directive (EU) 2019/1937, Spain's Law 2/2023, Germany's Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz (HinSchG), and the protected-disclosure regimes of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
>
> This statement records the capacity in which the author says he acts. It does not itself confer or establish protected-reporting-person status or retrospectively turn earlier facts into infringements of later rules. In Spain, the Sixth Additional Provision of Law 2/2023 may extend protective measures to people who reported acts or omissions within Article 2 that occurred after Directive (EU) 2019/1937 entered into force, even where the communication preceded the Law. That timing rule does not remove the remaining requirements. Protection in each instance depends on the facts, subject matter, reasonable belief, channel and recipient, work-related or professional context, personal, material, temporal and territorial scope, time limits and statutory exclusions. The application of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland regimes is not automatic either. No court, regulator or competent authority is presented here as having determined that status for every communication.

## Mandatory construction rules

1. `Persona informante / alertador` and `reporting person / whistleblower` describe Gil Marer's stated capacity; they are not presented as an adjudicated status.
2. The footer must retain the applicability qualifier and the second safeguard paragraph. Do not publish only the affirmative first paragraph.
3. Do not convert pre-entry events into infringements of later regimes. For Spain, however, test the express temporal extension in the Sixth Additional Provision communication by communication; do not erase it by saying only that pre-Law communications are excluded.
4. Do not treat the earlier Great Britain or Northern Ireland regimes as automatically applicable. Their employment/worker nexus, qualifying-disclosure, reasonable-belief, public-interest, recipient/channel, territorial and other statutory requirements must be tested on the specific communication.
5. Do not say that the listed laws prove the underlying allegations, validate every recipient/channel, remove limitation issues, immunise unlawful disclosure or displace confidentiality, privilege, data-protection, defamation, criminal-procedure or court-control rules.
6. Do not imply that any authority has recognised protected status unless a primary-source decision says so and its exact scope is stated.
7. Use official legal-source links. The links are source references, not legal advice or a conclusion on applicable law.
8. Any materially stronger public wording requires a new source-based legal review and an update to this control file.
9. The rendered footer may present the official-law entries as inline links and a compact official-sources row. Link markup does not alter the exact visible substantive paragraphs above.

## Source-status note

This file records a legally cautious public self-positioning statement. It is not a legal opinion, judicial finding, regulatory determination or guarantee of protection. Applicability must be assessed communication by communication under the law in force at the relevant time and in the relevant jurisdiction.
